Yorkshire’s Largest Pumpkin Festival Gets the Glow

This autumn, Farmer Copleys turned Ravensknowle Farm near Pontefract into Yorkshire’s biggest pumpkin destination for its 20th anniversary. Over 300,000 home-grown pumpkins in more than 40 varieties filled the fields, alongside tractor rides, live entertainment, vintage fairground attractions, witches’ storytime and popular evening twilight sessions.

To help create the right atmosphere after dark, we supplied more than 200 metres of commercial-grade warm white festoon lighting. The lights were used across:

The main photo-opportunity wall (including the striking Land Rover installation created with Vertu Land Rover Leeds)
The large yellow-and-blue striped festival tent
Outdoor areas and indoor market halls

The result? A warm, inviting glow that made golden-hour pumpkin picking, evening visits and Instagram moments even more magical. The festival is already known as one of the UK’s most Instagrammable pumpkin patches, and the lighting helped turn everyday family memories into something truly special.
